TBR BOOKS: 100+ Books I STILL Haven’t Read

Hello Everyone,

I’m sure we’re all guilty of having books on our shelves languishing on our shelves, sitting and waiting with accusing eyes. I’ve easily got several dozen that I am guilty of not reading yet. Here’s a bit of a list of all that I’m hoping to get to soon! So settle in, bring up Goodreads, and be prepared to add books to your TBR!

TBR BOOKS:

Many of these I’m embarrassed that I still haven’t read them! I’m always looking at other books or arcs that are priorities and many of these I just don’t have and need my library to access them. Which ones should I focus on? Also? Final count for all of this is 125 books. Ouch. There’s more but these are top of my tbr pile for now. I’m hoping to get to them soon.

Until next time,

WWW WEDNESDAY: A Return to Memes?

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to WWW Wednesdays! hosted bySam @ Taking on a World of Words.

What have I read?

A lot! I’ve been reading a fair few lately, I just finished a few historical romances and military romances, but also I have read a single nonfiction book. But here are the books I have read for October already!

Overall for October only one 5 โญ read so far. I’m hopeful that that will soon change. I haven’t picked up a book yet, but I’m eyeing several in my kindle even as I’m writing this!

What Am I Currently Reading?

I’m apparently in a weird reading mood where I want to read dark fantasy that’s got lots of graphic violence and historical romance that’s anything but, lol.

Mostly dark fantasy, a couple of novellas flung in for good measure. I’m probably going to do the historical romances in a separate post maybe. I don’t know yet.

What Will I Read Next?

Honestly, I have no idea my reading mood is wild now that I’m not back in a slump. I’ve already (checks Goodreads) read 9 books! I did dnf three, however and only one 5 star read. I’m hoping that will soon change. I’m positive Jay Kristoff will at least be 5 stars, so there’s that at least lol. What all have you been reading? Anything exciting? Let me know in the comments!

October TBR: My Favorite Month Is Here!!! ๐Ÿฆ‡๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿฆ‡

Hello Everyone,

My top three exciting reads!!!

There’s so many books that I want to read right now but am patiently waiting for my library to get them on hold. Also a book fair at my library tomorrow, finally! I’m dying to go. Last time I didn’t do a lot of pictures this time I am attempting to. Let me know if it’s too much?

These are just a handful of the books that I eagerly want to read. I’m hopeful most for Empire of the Vampire & From Blood and Ashes & Gideon the Ninth. I’m excited for all of them, of course, but we’ll see how the month shapes up! Let me know what your reading or have read. Happy October!!! ๐Ÿฆ‡๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿฆ‡

September TBR: I Haven’t Done One Of These In Ages!

Hello all,

Lots of things happening in September. September first is my birthday!!! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚ Happy birthday to me!!! (I’ll be 32 for those curious.)

Series September is also going on, meaning you try to knock out as many series as possible.

Magical Readathon is happening but I doubt I’ll participate in that one.

Becca’s Bookopolathon which I think I misspelled lol, is also happening. I’m not sure I will participate in this yet or not?

Big Books September is something I’m doing for myself in reading as many big books as I can seeing as we’re at the home stretch of the end of the year.

Here’s my potential tbr subject to change:

All the books I want to read!

Now I have read Eragon books 1 + 2 but I don’t think I’ve read book 3 and I know I haven’t read the last one.

I have read the Poppy War but not the remaining two.

I have read ALL of Pawn of Prophecy first original set up until the second series midway through.

And I’ve read book one of Sabriel but not the rest.

See a theme going here? Lol. I’m hoping to grab these from my local library and finish these all off hopefully. The rest I haven’t listed are ones that I’ve not read. These are some extras that I’m contemplating for series + big books:

Extra books I’ve been meaning to read!

I probably won’t get to all of these lol. And I’m still struggling in writing reviews, but I really am behind and hopeful that September can be my catch up month. Y’all can join me in #BigBookSeptember. I’d love for you to spread the word! Just tag me on Twitter as @Lovesbookandtea! What’s your tbr looking like? Read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

History or Mystery? Top Six Books On My TBR

Hello everyone,

I’ve got quite the hefty tbr going and so I thought I’d share some that I’m looking forward to reading here soon (I hope!). In no particular order these books are high on my wishlist to read:

A historical fiction piece about a group of men surviving in Alaska while the leader’s wife makes her own efforts to survive.
After losing her husband to war, a woman begins to become a well known midwife and leads a revolution.
A married couple become separated by war and husband believes that his wife has died when a chance encounter shows otherwise a few years later.
A woman goes on a hunt for lost art, and becomes involved in a mystery a painting believed to have been destroyed might actually be around after all.
A woman homicide detective returns to Ireland after clues show up of a long ago missing woman.
A woman begins to question that the man she loves might be a serial killer.

Each of these have elements history or mystery that I’m eager to explore. Some are new releases, while others are are backlist titles I’ve been meaning to get to for ages. Are any of these ones y’all have heard of? Let me know in the comments!

Top #5 Books in my Goodreads TBR

I have quite a few books in my Goodreads To-Be-Read pile, or Want to Read pile (3,190 to be exact) and the number just seems to keep climbing. I really need to thin the pile down and so I have picked five books to read in the next week, if I can get a hold of them within that timeline, along with the ARCs and Library Books that I have as well.

These are the current top five books, though one (Fascmilie) is out of print, so I’m not sure that I can get a hold of it. I’m really hoping to be able to find these on Amazon, the local library, the ebook library system I have, or some other way.

Titles-Authors:

Shadows Cast by Stars by Catherine Knutsson

Facsimile by Vicki L. Weavil

Lotus and Thorn by Sara Wilson Etenne

City of Savages by Lee Kelly

Daughter of the Sword by Steve Bein

If I can’t get these five books, then I shall move on to other books on my pile and go from there. I am attempting to be a bit more organized, and get rid of the many books in my Goodreads pile. Hopefully this new thing I’m trying will help!

Until next time,
