Welcome to Stacking the Shelves a meme created by @Tynga’sReviews. I have planned on being more up to date on my blog, so have decided to start joining in more memes, tags, and so on. Anyway on to the books!
I was approved The Familiars by Stacey Halls on Netgalley. This is described as: A beautiful tale of women, witchcraft, and the fight against power. Sign me up!
I may have screamed in delight and shock when I was approved Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout quite possibly one of my favorite authors ever. This is described as: a new novel set in the world of the Lux with gargoyle protectors and demons Yes please!
I was approved this beauty as well The Sun and Moon Beneath the Stars by K. Parr which is described as: an LGBT f/f romance about two women one a palace slave and the other a selfish princess. This one comes with a LOT of warnings though so I’m unsure of reading it.
Another book I was approved for is King of Flames by Kathryn Ann Kingsley which sounds just awesome and is described as: a woman working as a forensic autopsy technician wakes up with a mysterious tattoo on her arm and slowly learns that normal will never be real again. This sounds delightful.
Can I just say that I love #CandlewickPress? They really publish some great books! So I was thrilled when I received The Lost Coast by Amy Rose Capatta, another LGBT book that’s described as: The spellbinding tale of six queer witches forging their own paths, shrouded in the mist, magic, and secrets of the ancient California redwoods. Can I just say YESSSSS PLEASE!!!!
AND FINALLY
I was approved this one just today so yay! Queen of Sea and Stars by Anna McKerrow is looking like another romantic fantasy and is described as: As a child, Faye Morgan was always an outsider, shunned for the ancient and powerful magic that runs through her veins… This too sounds awesome and I definitely look forward to reading it.
Well those are my new arcs approved on Netgalley. Nothing yet in the mail but the day is still just half over. Thanks for dropping in. Any of these look interesting to you? Have you read these? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
-Pass Me That Book.
Most of these look like books I’d pick up. I hope you enjoy them!
