Shelf Control #1: Another New Meme

Shelf Control @ Bookshelf Fantasies – Feature a book you want to read and ALREADY own. There are several books to choose from in this category. And while this post is early, I know I won’t be able to post tomorrow, so here is a bonus post! I’m going to list five books on my shelves that I have been meaning to get around to for ages, but with so many ARCs that I have to read, let’s just say it’ll be a while before I can really get to them.

#1: The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst

The Queen of Blood
This is one that’s been talked about quite a bit, and is still being talked about on blogs that I follow. It’s still one of my anticipated reads, I just haven’t gotten to it yet. I don’t know why, perhaps its because I have 40+ARCs to read?

#2: Written in Red by Anne Bishop

Written in Red
Anne Bishop is one of my favorite authors, and this new series of hers I still haven’t started, but it’s been sitting on my shelf for ages. I really need to get to it!

#3: Through Wolf’s Eyes by Jane Lindskold

Through Wolf's Eyes

Ahhh, Jane Lindskold. Perhaps one of my top favorite authors of Scifi/Fantasy, she’s a prolific author of whom I adore. To be fair, I have a decent reason for not picking this up, I’m trying to save as many of her books as possible. And with this being the start of a long series, I can be sure of having a good read in the future.

#4: Lion of Senet by Jennifer Fallon

Lion of Senet

I have The Lyre Thief by Jennifer Fallon to read as well, and I haven’t even read this one yet. I have so many books stacked on my shelves, and while I’ve never read anything by her, I really want to start doing so. Which should I read first? Lyre Thief or Lion Senet?

#5: Wolfskin by Juliet Marillier

Another series of books featuring wolves. At least these aren’t werewolves, though I was obssessed with them for a time as a teenager. To be fair, I wasn’t obsessed with them romantically (aside from Remus Lupin, of the Harry Potter series), I was more fascinated by the science and the how of werewolves could be created. This is yet another book that’s been sitting around waiting for ages, and I really need to pick it up.

Those are the top five books that have been sitting on my shelf, waiting patiently for me to get to them. I do hope that I can reach them before too long, as writing about them has perked my interest of them once more. In the meantime, what books are your top five? Any good ones? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
-Pass Me That Book
