Top #5 Underrated Books I Love

These are five books that I haven’t seen talked about much lately. While I have seen “Song of Blood and Stone” on a couple of blogs, these others I haven’t seen hardly at all, so I am helping to promote their beauty as well as their unique world-building, on my blog.

My top five underrated books are as follows:

1: Heart of the Empire by Carrie Summers-filled to the brim with action, world-building, intense characters, romance, and war this is one of my favorites of this year and last.

2: Song of Blood and Stone by L. Penelope-this one gets a fair bit of negative reviews, but also a handful of positive reviews. I’m one of those positive people who really enjoyed reading this book. It’s full of magic, romance, a kingdom at war, and so much more!

3: Shades of Milk and Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal–this is a kind of Jane Austen magical retelling, which that right there should capture your attention. It’s filled to the brim with magical theories, mystery, romance, and adventure. The magic just makes the Jane Austen retelling bit even more awesome, in my opinion.

4: The Queen’s Rising by Rebecca Ross-another magical filled book, complete with war, romance, and mystery. This one is one of those that are talked about a bit more than the others, but not near enough.

5: Even the Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett-this one is a slightly new release, which means it hasn’t had much of a chance to be talked about, but it’s still one of those I love and wanted to include on the list.

Well, what do you think? Am I missing anything crucial? Or should some of these not be on the list at all? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,

I am currently accepting ARCs in the genres: Science Fiction, YA, Fantasy, Romance, Historical, and Mystery. I am open for anything, though religious based books are generally not something that I would read, unless a friend/someone I know asks me to. Feel free to email me for questions!
