Hello all,

The Shock of Night

Patrick W. Carr

This book was way better than I thought it would be! Not that I thought it would be bad, but the cover seemed to make me think of Game of Thrones, sorta.

Overall, the plot was brisk and filled with excellent writing. I didn’t like how it kept swapping between characters, but understood that it was necessary in relations to understanding the characters reasons for doing things.

I will definitely be reading more of the series once I thin down my other books on my to-read shelf!

Four and a half stars!

Until next time,
